20/63 for me
ReplyDeleteDamn. You need to get to work on that ASAP :P
DeleteRoan Inish and La Jetée are the only ones I haven't seen (I'd never even heard of La Jetée, so that was a pleasant take away from reading this).
ReplyDeleteA decent list, although I think including THE FOUNTAIN is really, really stretching it. It's not a question of whether a movie is "good" enough to be included or "bad" enough to be excluded. Simply defining an SF/F "must see" means that most entries on the list make perfect sense, at the very least from a cultural/brand standpoint, these films had an impact.
But "The Fountain"? Come on. It did nothing for either genre and has already been mostly forgotten by everyone. I'm struggling to see how it's a "must see", quality notwithstanding.
Clearly I need to see The Fountain so I can understand why so many people hate it :P
