How did you publish the magazine with both Lulu and CreateSpace without copyright issues? I am naive about publishing right now, learning as I go. I hope my question makes sense.

They have different ISBNs. As far as I know, there's no copyright issue there, since the CreateSpace folks specifically designate a separate ISBN and ask if it's been printed elsewhere. It's standard practice for most small ventures that go through places like Lulu, etc.
