Crisis Averted
News from BoingBoing: all the stolen laptops have essentially been replaced. Enough money was earned thanks to the community. Good news indeed. That was darn fast too.

Thank goodness for the kindness of people & sad anyone would steal them in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI see both sides upon having them replace their own & not being able to afford too. Fortunately, everything has already worked out :)
It's really surprising: the SF/F community is really very supportive. I don't know if that's the same as for other genres or forms of fiction, but even the SFWA has an emergency fund for writers in need.
