Some of the things he experiences in the book don't feel quite as believable for an 11-year-old.

Anywho!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13571452656553970472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33813337.post-53567304537045766952011-06-10T14:00:56.147-04:002011-06-10T14:00:56.147-04:00Wow! Personally I thought he showed a lot more grit than expected from an eleven year old, if it were me I'd be sobbing hard. Guess James is a better character than I gave him credit for, in my previous comment in your first chapter. I like the whole secret conspiracy kind of thing, very intriguing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33813337.post-1159912909223884382006-10-03T18:01:00.000-04:002006-10-03T18:01:00.000-04:00Shaun, I read the chapter Sunday. I guess if you are also a Libra you have a birthday coming soon if not already passed. Happy birthday!

I really liked chapter two. It kept me guessing. I got that terrible “Oh he’s going to tell people and they are not going to believe him or think he’s nuts” kind of feeling. I was relieved he didn’t go through that but now with the whole “town secret” angle I have a different kind of feeling. It will be interesting to find out how much his folks really know and what James plans to do with it. There is a mixture of elements here, mystery, fantasy and horror. So far they are working well. Overall the chapter moved well and answered some questions but asked a few more. Enough questions to eagerly await the next installment.Dane Bramagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06368506914343732128noreply@blogger.com
