Never seen Lost (and don't want to, JJ Abrams really doesn't do it for me). I tried to watch the new Doctor Who, but couldn't. The older ones, with the guy with the poodle hair, I remember quite fondly, but then again I was young and we only had three channels (one of which was PBS). I too think that Aeon Flux is a piece of trash show, it wanders, tries too hard to be "edgy and cool" and just ends up being lame. And I watched it when it was originally on MTV. Never saw the movie, but it did look like something you would find on 5th and Ivy late on a Saturday night.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33813337.post-2159385620418383272008-10-18T11:55:00.000-04:002008-10-18T11:55:00.000-04:00The problem is I don't even like the premise of Do...The problem is I don't even like the premise of Doctor Who. At least when BSG is less-than-perfect the premise is still good. And BSG wasn't the greatest through the first season. The first episode was phenomenal, and then it had a lot of hits and misses, but I loved the premise. BSG came into its own at the end of the first season.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13571452656553970472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33813337.post-17124719889474018542008-10-18T07:39:00.000-04:002008-10-18T07:39:00.000-04:00You should take Dr Who off because you haven't act...You should take Dr Who off because you haven't actually watched anything that can be called Dr Who. Seriously. I am making you watch Blink at the very least. Christopher Eccleston is the worst Doctor in the entire show, and you watched the first few episodes when they were not only getting into their stride after a decades-long break, but when Billy Piper sucked more than usual and was extremely annoying. You can't base an entire show like Doctor who on the very worst episodes. And I know you're going to say 'but BSG is perfect all the time!!!'. BSG is unusual, if not unique, in that respect. Even hugely successful shows like Buffy have their off days and even fans cringe (Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered springs to my mind). So yes, remove it from the list or I will make you watch every single episode. Don't think I won't do it.

And Lost isn't SF, I don't think. It starts out as more fantasy-ish to my mind, but then as you watch further you learn there are actually scientific explanations (ones that can be used today) for the weird stuff. Except that polar bear ...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
