I try to finish at least one. This week is a two-fer. lol. Just finished Venus and am reading Childhood's End and last weekend I finished Forever War.
It also depends on the size of the book and how into it I am. If it's a book I am absolutely in love with I likely will finished it in a day if I have the whole day to donate.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13571452656553970472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33813337.post-809399703734052972007-02-25T21:36:00.000-05:002007-02-25T21:36:00.000-05:00Hm, I don't have a reading list. I usually just borrow books from the library, and don't buy much. But wow, you read a lot! Good luck on finishing your list! How fast do you read, BTW?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33813337.post-260735477156881352007-02-24T02:32:00.000-05:002007-02-24T02:32:00.000-05:00Well I haven't started Ninja just yet. Or maybe you could host a short story contest and offer some sort of prize such as a book on writing (lots have been coming out lately) or a signed copy of a book. Who knows, I think that would be cool.

And yes, do point me in the direction of trading books! I've got a few I would like to part with!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13571452656553970472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33813337.post-44783818470871595532007-02-23T21:10:00.000-05:002007-02-23T21:10:00.000-05:00How's Ninja? *grin*You can get a Library Thing wid...How's Ninja? *grin*

You can get a Library Thing widget if you have the free membership; I haven't upgraded mine yet, but I've got the widget. Go for it.

(wouldn't it be cool if the next contest included a free Library Thing lifetime membership?)

Oh, and books... nice haul!!! You do know that you can also start trading online, right? I'll point you to the good sites when/if you're ready. Media mail rates apply... $1.59 to mail a book out...

(I can hear the woman I know who owns a bookstore having a conniption)Susan Helene Gottfriedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12778191943289129869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33813337.post-43507924211204809742007-02-23T14:45:00.000-05:002007-02-23T14:45:00.000-05:00First off Congrats! I need to work on my EyeQ program so I can read faster and more often.

Good luck on the lists! If I hear about any sites, I'll keep you posted. My brother is big into that. He went to Humboldt Univeristy for a while, English major, & loves writing, reading, etc.

Until laterZ!BlondeSwtPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11804554801130760274noreply@blogger.com
